◇ could have p.p  ~할 수 있었다(결과적으로 하지 않았다)

■ be able to / can
~할 수 있다 (전문적이고 구체적인 능력), 약속에 가까운 의미
I can do that. (최선을 다 할 수 있다)
I am able to do that. (못했을 경우, 거짓말 한 것이 됨)

I am going to call you. 전화하겠다는 약속

I will get/take/answer it.
I am going to get it. 계획된(기다리는) 전화를 받겠다는 의미

A: What are you going to do tonight?  데이트 신청하려고
B: I am going to the pool with my room mate.  계획된 예정, 설득 불가능
B: I will go to the pool with my room mate.   단순 예정, 설득 가능

■ shall
~할까요? (어떤 제안에 대해서 상대방의 의견을 물어 볼 때)
I or We를 주어로 쓴다
Shall we dance? = Can we dance?
Shall I go? = Can I go?
